Ludwig marquis began to build a castle in 1693, and the castle and the town
modeled on the Versailles Palace were completed in the next generation of Curl
Oigen marquis. They were relocated to Shuttuttogaruto in 1764. The castle and
yard of the Baroque are now open to the public.
Residenzschloβ
The
Dresden castle was the Zachsen king's castle. A small castle was built in the
13th century. It was expanded with prosperity of Zachsen dynasty. It was completed
in the 16th century. However, it was destroyed thoroughly by the massive air
raid. What remains now is only a part. In addition, restoration of this castle
is under way toward the completion in 2006, so you cannot look around inside
the castle for the time being.
