Anatomical Details
First, it is necessary to understand a little about how a
bird is constructed. There is a Chinese saying which runs:
'To paint a bird, do not go away from the form of an egg.'
So an egg shape is the starting point. At one end of the egg
add a small circle , then at the other end add a basic tail
shape . Divide the egg shape into three cross-sections: the
legs naturally attach to the third of these divisions .Cut
the egg shape into five equidistant divisions : the wings
fall naturally into the upper three divisions, while the breast
and belly belong in the lower two. Add a few feathers to make
it more lifelike, and you will have a perfectly proportioned
bird .
