INHALANTS
|
 |
There
are many types of inhalants: the ones that
are more simple and cheap are the ones that
are used the most, like these: Gasoline, Lighter
fluid, Nail polish remover, Glue,
Chloroform, Ether, Hair spray, Deodorants.
They are volatile substances used as drugs,
even though they’re not. These substances
provoke temporary euphoria and excitement,
that later is transformed into a hangover,
similar to the effects of alcohol, they are
the effects of the Central Nervous System.
They affect your breathing, causing impulsive
behavior, |

irritability,
and later, after the Nervous System is reached,
symptoms such as illusions, delirious attitudes
and hallucinations can occur. They don’t
cause physical dependency, but do cause
psychological dependency, and they can also
cause an acute heart attack, asphyxiation,
accidents and organ failure. Researches
show that the chronic users can suffer from
neural-psychological problems. After these
substances are absorbed by the lung’s mucus’s,
they are sent to the Central Nervous System,
liver, kidney, bone merle and brain, provoking
the blocking of the nervous transmission.
The person presents a slow speech, and can
present a psychotic behavior. Death can
still occur through respiratory stop, and
heart attacks.
