ABOUT US

Name: Eunice Wong
Age: 14 in 3 months
Sex: F
School: Diocesan Girls' School
Eunice says: "I'm a 14 year old girl who's in the 9th grade (form 3) and currently studying in Diocesan Girls' School, Hong Kong. A few years ago I came back from the States (NYC) to HK and entered the 7th grade (form 1) in DGS. I got interested in web design in the summer of the 7th grade and started learning simple HTML coding and things along those lines. Soon I progressed on more complicated things such as javascript and gave a shot at making my own web graphics (which, by the way, I love to do - it's creative and stuff). I would have loved to be the graphics designer for this year's challenge but as Samantha's better in graphics than coding, it was decided that she would do the job. You can say that I'm pretty much addicted to the internet and I spend a LOT of my free time going online. This is my first year joining Thinkquest and although my team mates and I ran into some problems, I'm proud at ourselves for actually being able to finish a complete site. Anyway, I hope you enjoyed the site as I enjoyed making it!

Name: Samantha Siu
Age: 14
Sex: F
School: Diocesan Girls' School
Samantha says:"Hi, My name is Samantha and my friends usually call me Sam. I just hit the age of 14 a couple of weeks ago, and I'm currently studying in year 9 in Diocesan Girls' School, Hong Kong, same as my teammates. I didn't know anything about creating web pages until year 7. I started from the basics by studying html on html help websites. At the beginning, I thought html was way too difficult for me, but slowly, I got the hang of it and I was hooked with web designing ever since! However, compared to Alison and Eunice, I don't consider myself really good at coding. Therefore, I volunteered to be the graphics designer of our team and I really did enjoy my tasks, and I'm pleased to say that I'm quite satisfied with the graphics I made. This is the first time that me and my friends joined the Thinkquest challenge, and no matter what the result is going to be, I will always remember this precious experience. Lastly, I just want to tell everybody that completing this project took us a lot of hard work, so I hope this visit to our site is going to be worth while to you!

Name: Alison Tsai
Age: 14 in 2 months
Sex: F (of course!)
School: Diocesan Girls' School
Alison says: I'm Alison and I'm going to be 14 in November. I am currently studying in DGS, grade 9 (Form3) and I am in the same (3U) with Eunice and Samantha. During Form 1, I was interested in making a homepage and I produced my first homepage with frontpage. Then, I started to learn html and made another homepage with frames. Next, I learned Flash and also how to use templates and tables to make a gorgeous homepage. Soon, I found that Eunice and Samantha shared my interests also so we got together to work on Thinkquest. This is my first time in joining a competition on the net and I hope I did do a good job! Yes, my teammates and I had a few conflicts in deciding the colours to be used, the layout, the job distribution etc. but we sorted them all out and worked together on it! So, I hope you like this TQ project and do leave a message for us in the guestbook! Merci!
