Why did you come to the US?

For the money.

Did you have to leave family when you came to the US?

No, but my pal and me.

Explain your experience on crossing to the border?

VERY BAD, immiration got me and drop me to the Mexicali Border, and then I had to get back to TJ to try agian.

Did you get over the first time you attempted to?

It took me three tries.

When you were over what did you do first once you were over?

I went to a bar to have beers with my friends.

Was it hard for you to communicate the first months you were in the US?

Yes, becuase I did not know one word of English, and there were not to many people who spoke spanish at the time.

Once you were settled did you try to bring some of your family?

No, because it was so hard to came across the border.

Are you a American citizen now?

No, but I have a green card and I make fun at immiration.

Can you speak and understand English?

Not very well, but I speak a little English.
