Why did you come to the US?

I came in hope of new adventure because I was young.

Did you have to leave family when you came to the US?

My parents and two older sisters.

Explain your experience on crossing to the border?

I was scared because it was an experience that I never felt before.

Did you get over the first time you attempted to?

I did.

When you were over what did you do first once you were over?

I came with a friend and we went up north to see his family.

Was it hard for you to communicate the first months you were in the US?

No, because at the time I came they need people to work in the fields. Picking fruits.

Once you were settled did you try to bring some of your family?

No, because my family did not want to come because they had there own lives to live.

Are you a American citizen now?

No, but I am a Legal Resident.

If yes, how long did it take to become a citizen?

27 years.

Can you speak and understand English?

Yes I can.
