Military
History
When in 1991. Croatia, Slovenia and
Bosnia and Herzegovina separated from Yugoslavia,
it was considered to be some kind of rebellion and
Yugoslavian army attacked all 3 countries. Solvenia
got off easily, because it had support of EU and NATO,
so that war in Slovenia lasted only for 2 days. Other
2 countries weren't so lucky. Yugoslavian army attacked
Croatia, and Croatian police forces, civilians and
a few hundred soldiers started defending Croatia.
Soon, the official army was formed and the rest is
history.
