Lu Bu was the almost-invisible warrior in theThree Kingdoms period. He was handsome and his talents in battles undebatable. He was originally the foster son of Ding Yuan who resisted the decision to dethrone Emperor Shao in favor of Emperor Xian. However, as Dong Zhuo realized the importance of Lu's talents, he lured Lu over to his side with jewels, pearls, the famous horse Red Hare and many other things. Unable to resist the temptation, Lu defected over.

From this, it was clear to see that although Lu was an excellent warrior, he was not a loyal one nor was he a warrior with a "brain". Wang Yun used his foster daughter, Diao Chan to set a beauty trap that trapped both Dong Zhuo and Lu Bu under the beauty of Diao Chan (for details see Diao Chan). For her, Lu lost his temple with Dong and killed Dong Zhuo.

After killing Dong Zhuo, Lu Bu escaped from the chasing armies and at Yanzhou, he took Cao Cao by surprise and captured Yanzhou. After this victory, he thought of joining forces with Liu Bei. Cao Cao was almost persuaded but after Liu Bei's suggestion to Cao Cao of not becoming the third "Ding Yuan", Cao Cao slew Lu Bu. Thus, Lu's legacy ended in such irony.

Wei Yan

Wei Yan was a bonzed man that had superior combat skills. He first served in the army without an office and later served under Huang Zhong. Both Huang and Wei went to Liu Bei in Jingzhou and served for Liu thereafter. However, from the very beginning, Zhuge Liang predicted that although Wei Yan had superior combat skills, he was not a man of loyalty, and that he would betray later.

After the deaths of the five tiger warriors, Wei Yan was the only big-named warrior left in Zhuge's camp. For this, Zhuge had to use him. At Zhuge's death bed, he gave Yang Yi a scroll of paper with instructions as to what to do after his death. Contained in this scroll was also prediction of the betrayal Wei Yan. According to Zhuge's plan, Wei Yan was slain once he disobeyed orders and defected.
