Zhu Yuanahang (1328-1398) was born at Zhong Li of Hao state. He first started out as a peasant revolt leader. At the end of the Yuan dynasty in 1368, he solved all obstacles and founded the Ming. Chinese regained power.
After becoming the emperor of Ming, he abolished the post of prime minister, and worked out " the Great Ming's laws " that strengthened centralization. He again adopted the government system that was supported by a large class of Confucian literati selected through civil service examinations. Zhu Yuanzhang was a good emperor who carried out positive economic policies, created foundations for the prosperity in early Ming dynasty. Zhu Yuan Zhang died at the age of 71.
