Qi Jiguan
Later Ming dynasty, a group of people called the Wo bandits harassed the Chinese southeastern coast repeatedly. National hero Qi Jiguang and his army fought at Mount Zhou and State of Tai, and heavily hit the bandits. 1565, the calamities caused by these bandits have ended. But the emperor of Ming dynasty feared external battles, so he ordered to burn all of the seagoing vessesl, to break off foreign trades, and to carry out a closing policy, which greatly obstructed the development of the economy of China and killed the seed of capilitism in China.
