Kirstenbosch
The Kirstenbosch National Botanical Garden is set on over 520 hectares on the eastern slopes of table mountain. The gardens where rated as one of the top 7 botanical gardens in the world last year. There is more than 6000 plant species in the garden. These gardens are also the head office for the South African botanical institute. The best time to visit the gardens is in August and September when the flowers are blooming.
