The Cape Town Holocaust center This center is remembrance to the almost 6 million Jews who died in the holocaust during world war 2.This museum is the only holocaust center of its kind in Africa. It is a extremely emotional and heartbreaking exhibition which gives you a very good insight in the lives of Jewish people between 1933 and 1945. What you feel once you leave the museum is a sense of disbelief that one humans dream of a superior race could go so far as to kill 6 million people who don't fit in his dream.
A Jewish boy (you can tell because of the yellow star on his back) playing and talking to two boys and a lady through a fence at a death camp. The reason that we thought that this was a important inclusion in the website was both the holocaust and apartheid was the persecution of a belief.
