Pre primary

The Pre Primary is located with the Junior school in Rondebosch. Children may start taking the pre primary classes from the age of three.At the moment there are three classes;namely the Younger group, the Senior group and the Bridge Group.The Younger group focuses on tactile stimulation,concept development and the improvement of the skills of daily living.The Senior Group focuses on developing pre-reading and pre-writing skills.The Bridging class is made to wear uniforms as the class is more formal which helps the children prepare for Grade 1.

Grades 1-3(the Foundation Phase)

In these grades the areas of Literacy, Numeracy and Life Skills are focused on.Cultural development and development in sport are encouraged as well. The children are also visited byby speakers and are taken on outings.

Grades 4-6(The Intermediate Phase)

The learners are taught study skills of which learning to mindmap is one.Life skills,coping mechanisms and independence are emphasised. Classes are kept small .Outings and camps also play a part in the school year.
