In this excellent site, you can learn about the history, the future, and a working of the space station through various interactive features and cool graphics. It will also explain how it is a stepping stone for many other space explorations. The site will also include links to other websites to expand your knowledge on this great topic.
CoacH: Vijaya
Vijaya Krishnan, is a Systems and Technology consultant with a number of years of experience in programming of application software. She helped the Thinkquest team throughout their website creation and her knowledge of the software tools helped to guide the team members effectively.
Divya
Divya is currently a freshman at a private high school in New York, USA. Divya contribution was in designing the website with graphics, HTML, Dreamweaver and Flash software and managing the whole presentation. She has been working with web design and HTML pages for the past two years, when she was in 7th grade and is adept in learning new technologies. The website organization and the presentation in Spanish language which is her foreign language in her school curriculum and German was her idea and she designed and implemented the same. She had also been in touch with a NASA lab and was very excited when Glenn Perez, Lead Robotics and Avionics Engineer, National Aeronautics and Space allowed her to interview him for first hand details. She had also got a couple of exhibits from the NASA space center in Houston, Texas, the photographs of them are included in the website.
Akilesh
Akilesh is currently a freshman at a private high school in Chennai, India. His contribution to the website was mainly in researching the topic, spending many hours in his school library for the International space station material and sending references to his teammate in US. His other main contribution was in editing and correcting grammatical errors in the content. Once the site was uploaded on a server, he was instrumental in testing the buttons, links, and various versions, we have Flash, No Flash, English, German and Spanish versions and officially became our tester. The quiz was his suggestion and he implemented the same.
