Schizophrenia is a severe mental disorder marked by unpredictable disorders in thinking. People with schizophrenia usually withdraw themselves from reality and often think in illogical and confused patterns. For example, a person with schizophrenia may conceive in a different pattern that normal person cannot understand.

Schizophrenia is among the most common mental disorders. Male tends to develop the disorder earlier and more severely than female. Most people with schizophrenia develop the illness between ages 15 to 25.
