Questioning

I was in correspondence with American students and asked them different questions about Etiquette. My questions were:

• Is etiquette necessary nowadays?
• Do rules of etiquette impede you to feel at ease with yourself?
• Do you observe table manners?
• Does you family have some special table rules?
• Do you think that table manners are important?
• How do you prepare the party table?
• Do you have some special ways of decorating the table?

To sum up the answers, I can say that etiquette is important in the lives of modern people. Your manners show what kind a of person you are. Parents try to teach their children to observe table manners and their children are going to teach their children. There are not special table manners in many students' families, but they observe accepted table manners. Table manners are necessary especially in a public restaurant. Some students sent me addresses of Web-sites about etiquette and decorating. Some asked students said that they don't really have a specific way to set up.
