Approximately 900 kilometers from Bantry Bay till "The Cliff Ridge". Across all 4 sections of the beach each with a name (1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th beaches)

Surfing, body boarding, ball game sports. Scuba diving, jet skiing and canoeing are prohibited due to dangerous submersed rocks.

Clifton is a relatively small beach so there are 2 to 3 designated sanitary and cloakrooms along the beach. Adequate parking is available.

Hotels and board & lodging are available.

Relatively clean. The beach is equipped with bins

The waves at this beach have a constant flow and can get very big.

On hot days the water will be pact with swimmers on 4th, 1st and 3rd beaches so the best spot to surf or to do any water sport would be 2nd beach. 2nd beaches waves seem to be bigger than the other three beaches as well.

For the best waves go to this beach when the wind is blowing from a East direction.
