Size: 2.1 kilometers from Mackeral Bay to Shelly Beach

Facilities: Showers and bathrooms are available on the beachfront.

Near by attractions: Camel and horse rides are a major attraction and they are not expensive at all. There is a self catering accommodation called Surfway Cottage and close by are various arts and crafts workshops and a local Dance Studio.

There is a high level of cleanliness.

The waves here are powerful and can get  higher than 6 foot.

This beach is definitely not for the amateur surfer or bodyboarder but if you brave you can try it out.

It is best to go when the wind is blowing in a South West direction.
