Kinetic Energy

Energy that is possessed by an object, reulting from the motion of that object.

An example of Kinetic energy would be a ball rolling down a hill.

The magnitude of the Kinetic energy depends on both the mass and the speed of the object according to the equation

E=1/2 mv squared
