Color Mixture

The mixture of color can be talked in three different aspects.

1. The Mixture of Pure Light (Additive Mixture)
All colors can be produced by mixing three primary colors of the light.

After mixing

Hue is about the center of all light mixed, but tend to the light having more proportion.
Brightness is the total of all light mixed.
The farther all light mixed place in the color cycle, the lower saturation is.

2. The Mixture of Pigment (Subtractive Mixture)
Three primary colors of the pigment is cyan, magenta, yellow.

After mixing

3. Neutral Mixture
Mosaic and cloth which use different color fiber in horizontal and vertical direction are both neutral mixture.

After mixing

Hue is the average of all light mixed.
Brightness is the average of all light mixed.
Saturation is the average of all light mixed.
