Primary Color

By experiment with many pigments, Brewster take magenta, yellow, and cyan as three primary colors. By mixing pairs of three primary colors, we can produce red and blue and green, which are referred to as secondary. However, blue and green and red is the primary colors of the theory Thomas Young and Helmholtz put forth. In human eyes have three group nerve fibers which is sensitive one of the three light primary. When human retina receive light, these fibers receive different stimuli to produce our different perception. We often refer to cyan, yellow, and magenta as the primary colors of the pigments, and red, green, and blue as the primary colors of the light.
