Laughing and playing In an investigation I had talked about, it showed that children tend to laugh when they are playing, so we have to admit that there’s a relationship between laughing and playing. The biological effect of games is that it has a purpose for players to play. But the getting the purpose is not that important, because game is just an activity. Only looking from the biological perspective, it can be said that it’s useful. Therefore, playing games is for OURSELVES. We are trying to look for our purpose when playing games. We want to show the others that we are not weak when playing games. After talking about the players’ feelings, let’s move on to talking about laughing and tickling. Most people will laugh when being tickled, so we can say that the tickler is the attacker, however the one being tickled will not be angry. Therefore, we can be sure that tickling has a special biological effect, it shows the players’ feelings and it is a practical joke. Babies laugh as to tell their parents that they are content, so it’s a expression of satisfaction. Nevertheless, in our whole lives, laughing remains to be like that. When we are playing, we laugh as to also express that we are satisfied. Therefore, laughing has 2 usages: one is to tell our parents that we are content; the other is to arouse and express our feelings in a game. Games need the players to laugh so as to continue, and as you all know, laughing is contagious. To conclude, all biological laughter express, remain, and telling others about our feelings. And in this feeling, our body don’t need to do anything to protect ourselves.
