Here are some South American Fish ~ 

Rays ~ Have no bones- their body framework made of rubbery Cartilage.

Eels ~ The Moray Eel could grow up to 3 metres long.

Plaice ~ Are flat fish who lie on their left side on the ocean floor.

Flying Fish ~ Can glide 400 metres across the ocean.

Pike ~ Is a very long fish which can swim fast.

Jellyfish ~ The Box Jellyfish could kill a person with it's poison in 30 seconds

Swordfish ~ Live near the surface of the sea.

Cod/Haddock ~ Live in temperate waters.

Tuna ~ The Blue Tuna can grow up to 3 metres.

Salmon ~ Will return to the same stream from the sea to where they were born.

Marlin ~ They often migrate to lay their eggs.

Arapaima ~ one of the largest freshwater fish.

Seahorses ~ Swim vertically, not horizontally.

 


Ayolotl ~ only in Lake Yochimko Mexico

Scorpion Fish ~ Their beautiful spines can cause stings and injuries.
