Here are some Oceanian reptiles:-
| Leatherback turtle ~ One
was recorded at a depth of 1295m, deeper than any other known vertebrate.
Moloch (Thorny devil) ~ The spikes that cover it's body protect it and provide a surface which collects droplets of dew for a drink in it's desert home. Black-headed Python ~ Is found only in this continent. New Guinean Boa ~ Can be maintained on a diet of small mammals, frogs, or birds.

Green turtle ~ Out
of 100 eggs only 1 or 2 survive the first year.
Green Tree Python ~ Is found in remaining rainforest regions. Stokes Sea Snake ~ Can be found easily in Australian waters.
