Here are some common and rare birds that live in the continent of Oceania:-

Raggiana Bird of paradise ~ Males dance in treetops showing off their bright red lacy plumes in cascades of shimmering colour.

Emu ~ A flightless bird with powerful legs.

Australian Black Swan ~ An exception to the usually white birds. It is mainly black with a bright red beak.

 Peregrine falcon ~ In a diving swoop can reach speeds of up to 190 km/h.
