Here are some birds that either live or migrate to North America:-

Golden Eagle ~ In the wild lives for up to 20 years but up to 45 in captivity.

Ani ~ related to the cuckoo. Can't fly very well so they forage on the ground for food.

 Peregrine falcon ~ once called the duck hawk because its winter prey includes ducks.
