It is important to note that much of the information given in this section is in regards to current experiments being conducted in parapsychology, which is still an emerging science. While the results of these experiments are a far cry from the spectacular cases of psychic phenomena often reported, one must keep in mind that these are the very results that the established sciences are looking for: results that are measurable, quantifiable, and can be demonstrated--and repeated--in a laboratory setting. These results undeniably show that something is happening, even if parapsychologists themselves are as yet unsure as to what that is.
