Louis the 16th

Louis the 16th became king of France, when he was 19 years old. When he was 15, he married the beautiful Austrian princess Marie Antoniette, who was one year younger. Louis was a very important person during The French Revolution. He decided everything in France. He seemed weak and not very sure about the things he did. In 1971 he tried to escape out of the country and make an alliance with the enemies of France. Then the people got angry. They arrested him, and took him to the guillotine. In january 1793 he was exewcuted. He was 39 years old at this time.
