Cirrus


Cirrus clouds are thin, wispy clouds that usually form above 18,000 feet. These clouds are usually thin and wispy due to the lack of water vapor in the upper atmosphere.

Cirrus Cloud Types

Cirrostratus- Thin, whispy clouds that spread accors the

sky that usually give us a sign that there will be precipitation in under 24 hours.

Cirrocumulus- Small, rippling white puffs that spread across the sky. Lilttle or none precipitation is related to this cloud.
