I am an 18 year old high school senior. During my high school career my love art took off and I got involved with art in my community. I took a postion at a local art gallery, where I have worked for over a year now. I took my work for this ThinkQuest website very seriously because I hope to major in graphic design in college. I have yet to declare my plans for further education, but know my future is in art.

I'm Jan from Oldenburg in the north of Germany, and I was responsible for texts and research. It is the first time I have participated in the TQ contest and I have thoroughly enjoyed it.

It was great fun researching and putting together the information to readable and interesting chapters. In addition, it was wonderful working with a team of highly motivated students and great coaches. I would like to thank you, Laura, Gerriet, Sheryl, Steve, and Martin for your work and support.

As I am very interested in the subject of history in general and the holocaust in specific, my choice of the site topic was not a random one. I've been following the compensation discussion since 1998 and have also since tried to get to know more about the topic. The results can be seen on this site!

In October, I will start studying medicine and pick up on a entirely different subject. I want to become a psychiatrist and hopefully will still have time to continue digging around in history!

I'm Gerriet from Schortens in northern Germany. Schortens is a small village near Wilhelmshaven where the "Expo am Meer" project took place last year. I'm 18 years old and I go to the Mariengymnasium in Jever.

I have been interested in the topic since the discussion about compensations began. I was responsible for the programming of the site.

I like working together with Jan, Laura and our three coaches Mrs Hinman, Mr Ferguson and Mr Lichte. All of them made a good job.
