About This Section

Have we sparked your interest yet? Let? take a closer look now. Welcome to our classroom. Come and explore with us!

It's very important for us to learn about Mesopotamia. Why do we say this? Maybe you?l understand better after starting our lessons with, "Why do we have to learn history?" At one point or another, we?e all wondered why we had to study this stuff. With so many dates and events to remember, it? no wonder we get bored sometimes. However, history itself is really not boring! It is quite interesting when we understand its importance to our lives. Read each lesson we give you carefully. Use your heart and mind to understand how ancient Mesopotamia reflects our lives today.

Have you ever noticed how the world seems to be getting smaller? With our advanced communication systemns, our world is becoming like one big village! How can we eliminate current world problems and make this a better place? You can try to find your own answer in our lesson, "Why did Mesopotamia exist?"

After your lesson, you may take a look at "Questions for Thinking," just use what you?e learned to come to a conclusion. However, there is no right or wrong answer. Instead, you will want to think it over and discuss your solution at "Message Board -- Questions For Thinking" Have you found it yet? Use it to share your thoughts and ideas with people all over the globe! Have fun!
