[Your
Task]Have you dreamed of living like a
king? Or have you wondered how the people in
ancient times got along with each other? Maybe
you can have a chance now! Come on! Invite your
classmates, friends, family, and work together to
make a drama up!
We suggest you
have read the lessons and then doing this
activities!
You can plan
your own play accordding to the society in
Mesopotamia. What is the life in Mesopotamia? You
can think for a while by careful study, but we
can give you some directions:
You should
understand how people can be alive in deser. And
thier character should be affected by the living
surroundings. What was the influence? Were people
optimistic, fond of fights, staunch, or kind?
What do you think? When you arrange the roles in
your play, you should get the personalities of
each role straight at first. It is very
important.
And then, you
can begin to decide what action you want to play.
We prepare some examples:
- In
the palace
Then your roles should be
one king, some ministers... You can use
the history stroy in our class lesson.
- In
the general society
How did people live? They
worked and made what interaction with
others?.... Try to describe in your play.
- The
Epic
It is the most easiest but
it is also the most difficult one. Why?
Because you have already had the model of
the story but you still have to think for
much time about how realize them into one
drama.
- ...
But anyway, they
are just "EXAMPLES," you can add some
interesting elements of your own. You can discuss
about that with your work mates. Maybe you will
feel confused: What elements can we add? Don't
forget, you are living at present. You can make
your play being able to seem modernistic? ( Just
advice ) Take your imagination ability out,
perhaps you can make an excellent drama!!
You should has
some work roles in this drama play:
- Director(s)
- Drama
Writer(s)
- Actor(s)
- Coach(es)
Are you ready?
We just give you the directions... Now you can
start! Let it "Go!"
