Work Process in TQ Team C0119205

We have talked a lot to each other about how to get work together.....All of us used MSN. We often met each other in cyberspace and used MSN to discuss about the ThinkQuest work. We exchange our thought, experience, skills, and wokr for making a perfect learning web site. The team leader is Dennis, he has made some other learning sites in Taiwan, but they are made in Chinese, it is his first time to make an English site. Jian is good at web designing work. And he is very very creative and he gave many ideas about the class activities and games. How about Amanda? She is very "excellent" at English-writing. She taught Jian and Dennis how to make a good article in English.

All of us have learned a lot from this special experience. Each of us has own skills. It is very lucky we met each other and got work together. Maybe we have never been face to face, but we have become good partners and good friends through TQ. We are from all around the world and work together for 4 months. One of the most difficulties is language. Although all of us know English is the international language, sometimes we still made some funny maistakes when talking to each other AND used differnent English-speaking style. For example, when we wanted to agree one idea, Amanda will say: "Ok;" Dennis will say: "Oh.Ya;" Jian will say: "erm."
In meeting!

We are from 3 different countries. It is so cool we can understand more about other countries and work together.....We of course have never seen each before, but we became friends in this ThinkQuest work experience. :) No words can describe this wonderful experience.

Dennis created some topics, and he had discussed with our reseacher--- Amanda for 3 hours. And later Jian also accepted this topic and joined our team. At last we chose the topic "Mesopotamia." Dennis said we can improve our life problems today by taking a look at past (History). How do we have to learn history?? It is one reason why we have to. We have to learn from experiences even we could know them just from books.

In the past 4 months, we surely have had arguements wit each other. Sometimes we might get confused about what we were talking about. The line would often appear: "Are you sure what we are talking about is the same thing???" But anyway, we try our best to over come any difficulties and make this site for you. Maybe you think it is not very good, but at least it is our result for our hard work. The coaches give us many guides, thank them! Oyinda gave us the direction of the web contents 'coz she was thew winner last year in Van Gogh at Etten - sketches and billboards , Rahul led us to search the resources and make programming work. He has worked at Supernatural World! in ThinkQuest IC 1999. It was a semifinalist. Gladys has coached Dennis at the site The Green Giant ( Chinese ) in Taiwan Cyberfair2001 location competition. She help us with the research work.

Amanda, Dennis, and Jian. We hope we can be allowed to meet each other in the finalist!! Thnks ThinkQuest and anyone who has helped us make this site -- The Light Of People Cultures : Mesopotamia ! Hope you enjoy this site! :)
