Hi. My name is Oyindamola (pronounced
Oh-yin-da-mo-la) Osonowo.I'm a 20yr-old female from
Nigeria. I reside in Lagos, Nigeria and recently
graduated from the premier Girls' Secondary
School in the country, Queen's College Yaba.
Working on Thinkquest this year was a truly
wonderful experience. No words can describe the
profound excitement that working in a team, this
team generated. I have really great team
students. This is my first year of participation
in Thinkquest as a coach.
I was the winner
in ThinkQuest 2000, and my site is Van Gogh at Etten -
Sketches and Billboards. And I got a good chance
to make me learn more. So I want to join
ThinkQuest again!!
This year, I
feel that I have been better able to fulfill the
objectives of this competition including
collaboration, team work and especially
friendship. You can't imagine how much fun I had
emailing people I've never seen or spoken to. I
made other friends through the MyThinkquest
system apart from my own team mates.
Dennis, Jian,
Amanda are really perfect because they are
courageous to get what goals I asked them and
encourage each other to finish this unique and
good project. Dennis is really very tough. Amanda
and Jian have told me they might be not able to
do anymore coz they were too busy...and all of us
were very sad and upset...Surely dnny was, too.
But he woke us up. I have talked to him in
cyberspace for many times about our work.
My students are
very good at exchanging their own knowledge and
skills with each other. They are very bright! I
can promise. Although it is very difficult for
such an international team ( 6 countries!! ) work
together in ThinkQuest Competition....and surely
we got many terrible difficulties...but at last,
we worked them out together. This work experience
is very wonderful and hard to forget...I hope I
can meet them in the finalist and I hope my dear
students-- Dennis, Jian, and Amanda can learn
more them before in this experience! You are the
best!! I love you!!
