Yippee~! We have finally completed the webpage. Glad that it's finally over and that we have learnt some computing skills and quality life for the elderly through the research done. A lot of hard work has been put in the research and later the construction of webpage over the weekends and a month long holiday.
My name is Mei Ying, and I am from Malaysia, currently studying in S'pore on the ASEAN Scholarship.

Let me introduce my Alma Mater in Malaysia briefly. In Chung Kwok School, we attended full day lessons, from 7-5p.m. If you have the picture of a nerdy school in your mind, you're wrong. Chung Kwok School is a very lively school. The school compound is very small, so during recess you can practically see students making use of every inch of the school (except the rubbish-disposal area) for play. Some play basketball at the basketball court; some play badminton at the badminton court, the basketball court, and even the car park. Others play hide-and-seek all over the school or play some children games like skippers made of rubber band in the garden. I was a band member in primary school, and we were the pioneer batch. I treasure those moments in Chung Kwok, because it's where I played hard and worked hard, and also where I have learnt a lot of facts or skills from fresh...

Life in S'pore is challenging and enjoyable too. Since I came to S'pore at 12 years old, I had to learn to be strong, independent, persevering and resourceful at a young age. In Dunman High School (where I was posted to), I've experienced the ups and downs of life, built friendships and through those experiences, I've learnt and understood things.

Staying in a hostel is fun, we have lots of activities, like dance, BBQ, Games, Angel-Mortal Games. All these fun plus the good food compensate for the "not so competent" facilities. Although we don't have Internet access, which thus make things very troublesome, we do have laundry service. We also have a very caring housemistress who will definitely make you feel at home! Not forgetting to mention that we get to make genuine friendship with people from different countries. Yeah, we stay near the sea, thus we like jogging to the beach and enjoy the sea breeze.
