The Aztecs - Part 3 - Dates and Calendar

The Aztec peoples believed that the universe had passed through 4 world creations, or suns, and that we are currently in the 5th and last world which is doomed to be destroyed by earthquakes. These 5 ages are reflected in the carvings on the Sun Stone. The Vaticano-Latin Codex is a pictorial primary source of information from which we can learn more about these ages. ________________________________________________________________________
