Portfolio

For those whow want to keep a portfolio or prepare one for school, here are somethings to consider. There are two aspects of a portfolio: the breadth and and the concentration. The breath shows variety and is meant for you to demonstrate your capabilities in a variety of mediums and subjects. The concentration is a tricky part. The concentration consists of a series of work with a unifying theme, subject, or design component. Examples of theme can be pop culture, school life, etc. Examples of subject includes things as general as self portraits to something as specific as fish. Examples of design elements include repetition, color, etc. However, the pieces should not be completely of the same style. There should be some progress in the pieces. It should "go" somewhere.
