Topframe

The Frame at the top will always remain active throughout your entire time spent here.


In fact, all you need is the select box at the top right corner to take you everywhere in the site. It is the most important navigating tool, preventing hitting browser's Back button everytime.

There are 3 icons located beside the select box, the search, howto (gets you to this page) and sitemap.
The search will run a search on the keywords typed and remember to click the manifying glass icon to search or just hit enter.
The howto will bring you to this psage.

The Different Sections.

The Studio teaches users how to draw. All the pages in studio can be navigated using the select box at the Topframe. There are 4 sections to explore and each section has each loading page to bring the user deeper into the tree.



This Time Capsule has the information on the artist and periods. Just select either an artist or a period on the left and the page will load automatically. To return to index or jump to other section, use the select box in the TopFrame.



The Gallery is divided into 4 mediums. Select any medium and a page of thumbnails of all the available art on that medium will be presented. To view a larger picture, click on the thumbnails. The select box is unique to the gallery, being able to jump to other mediums straightaway.



This is the place for you to meet other users who are interested in art. You can post messages and pictures there to discuss about art. To use, you can either log in as guest (automatically) or sign up as a new user. It's no fuss, just sign up and you are ready to use. However the integrity of the contents posted will depend heavily on the user himself. Although there are moderators, it is not possible to monitor every posts.
For users interested in adding images, you will need to upload the picture to a server and adding the hyperlink.
eg. <img src="http://wwww.geocities.com/user/me.jpg"> Remeber to use the real path and not the relative path.

The workshop has quiz and puzzles for you to try out your skills. The Quiz only allows you to have 1 attempt and will display the answer if you get wrong. However you can always try again. The puzzle section requires you to rearrange the different pieces together to construct the original picture again. To rearrange the pieces, just click on a piece and click on the other piece you wish to replace and the pieces will switch.



Read what others have to say about certain art pieces. To add your own critique, head to the Forum where a critique board is found.
