This site is made as part of thinkquest challenge 2001........it is a learning site for all those interested in the study of plant life....the process of growth from the time of flowering.....right through pollination and fertilisation........to the seeds we all know....then right round to germination......and back to the plant..until it flowers again.

This site explorers in detail the complex processes involved in the plant growth process.The authors of this site are biologists at heart and are awed by the wonder of plant growth....how it is a mixture of so many seemingly unconnected processes that are studied in other disciplines of science.....for example...the mathematics involved is breath taking...permutations and combinations....probability that pollen will get to a particular flower.....the fact that certain plants have a specific number of petals.......and other such mathematical phenomena.

The physics is also just as astounding....fluid motion....capillarity up the plant stems.....viscocity.....name it!!!!

It is all present in plant growth ,AND WE ARE HERE TO SHOW YOU HOW.......so just sit back and enjoy a ride into the wonderful world of our partners on this planet...THE PLANTS......
