Most people think maths is about arithmetic, which is the   study of numbers and operations such as adding and dividing. Maths is much more than that. It is a way of describing the world and how each part is related.

Numbers are just part of the special language of mathematicians, and like learning any language it is best done through using it, and learning t starts at home.
