"One of the main reasons I don't do drugs is my future. When I grow up I want to play basketball throughout college and then be an important business woman or a highly respected athlete. If I do drugs I won't be able to do all these things. Taking drugs and smoking will damage my health making me unable to play basketball. It would also damage my brain, making it hard for me to concentrate and keep up in the high tech business world. Another reason I don't do drugs is, well, I can't find any plus side to doing drugs. They can damage your brain, cause cancer, they cost a lot of money, money you could be spending to buy something useful, they're ILLEGAL, and they're just downright not good for you. I never am going to do drugs, and I hope no one I know ever does them either." -Rachel, 11 |
