Every
Tuesday and Thursday after school, about 10-20 high-schoolers tutor at an
elementary school. Tutoring
is on a volunteer basis, and takes a lot of dedication.
Rising Stars tutors are selected from CARE students and are
assigned to a student.
The student's abilities and limitations dictate what subject the tutor focuses on. After spending many hours together friendships are formed between the tutor and the student.
