As
a part of CARE training, each student must agree to live by the terms of
the CARE Pledge. The pledge is signed in September of every year and
lasts until the next September to ensure that students stay drug and
alcohol free during the entire year, including the summer. The
CARE Pledge is used on an honor system. Below is a copy of the
CARE pledge.
"I, __________, promise to remain chemically free as long as I am a member of the Galesburg High School CARE group. Should I use chemicals at anytime, for any purpose, while a part of the group, I will voluntarily remove myself from the group by notifying my advisor. I also promise to report any chemical use by CARE members that I might see." |
