Singapore, where East meets West

Rudyard Kipling might have said that the West will never meet the East, and the East will never meet the West. However in Singapore, this is where East meets West, and North meets South.

Singapore might just be a little red dot on the world map, yet our achievements are larger than life. We have one of the world's busiest port and the world's best International Airport. Due to our strategic location in Asia, we not only have a great number of tourists each year, our cultural diversities are countless. Different ethnic groups have set foot on Singapore some decades ago. Most of these people decided to stay on and set up a family here. Not only building their homes, their built up their community, their religious buildings and not only that, they built up their culture, which includes food, of course.
