Lesson 9. Sectional Views: Gemini Spacecraft Landing System

Step 1. Getting started

You will use a Grid spacing of .0625. You might have to change the Dimension settings in order to allow this.  Click the Dimensions Settings button. Where it says "Accuracy in Digits", change the number in the box next to "General" to 4.   For your Paper Settings, use an A-size portrait sheet set to Landscape. 

Start by drawing a circle with a radius of 1.0675 (diameter = 2.1250).  

Now use the Copy command to copy this circle twice on another area of the paper.  Then label each circle using the Text command.  Label them respectively Section A, Section B, and Section C.  It will look like this:
