Lesson 6. Practice - Mercury Spacecraft Interior Arrangement

The Mercury Capsule was designed to take one man into space. The capsule was about 11 feet in length, including the retro rockets, and about 6 feet in diameter. To learn more about the history of the Mercury Program click on the blue button.

Take a moment to visualize the steps involved with this drawing. There are a few new commands you will learn that will make this much simpler than if you tried it without them.

Step 1. Draw the mirror line and ship exterior.

Step 2. Scale the capsule and draw the console.
