STEP 4. Copy the dials.

Now label the dial as shown below with the Text command. Then use the Line command to make the second hand.

Now copy this entire dial by clicking the Copy icon and dragging the selection window from the LOWER LEFT- UP. This is the ONLY way that you can select a group of entities. Copy the dial to the right position so that it appears as shown below.

Use the Text command and the Rotate command to make the two completed faces match the finished drawing shown at the beginning of the lesson. Now use the Rectangle command to make a box in the center of the drawing. Make the smaller side 2.5 and the longer 5.5.

Now make a copy of one of the dials and place it in the center top of the smaller box.

Now, leaving the dial selected, use the Scale command and a Scale Factor of .7 to make it smaller.

Now make four copies of the small dial and place them as shown below.
