Looking at the completed drawing , we see that we need a total of 5 knobs
and that they are all in a line and evenly spaced. We
also see that each knob has a label next to it. We will
use the Rectangle command
to draw the outline of the label.
When prompted for the corners of the rectangle, click on
the grid dots indicated by labels D1 and D2 in the figure
below.
Now use the Copy command
to make 4
copies of the circle and rectangle.
When you click
you will be
prompted to "Select Entities". You can either
pick the circle and rectangle individually by clicking on
them with the mouse, or you can put a window around both
of them by clicking at the grid dots indicated by labeled
D1 and D2 below.

Click the right mouse button to
stop selecting entities. The prompt will now read
"Copy: From?" Click on the grid dot in the
center of the circle. The prompt will now read
"Copy: To?" Drag the mouse down until the space
next to "D" at the bottom of the screen reads
"1.5". Click the left button. Your result
should look like the Figure below.

The prompt will again read
"Copy: From?" Click on the center of the purple
circle. The prompt will then read "Copy: To?"
Drag the mouse down until the box next to "D"
at the bottom of the screen reads "1.5". Your
CadStd screen should look like the figure below:

Continue making copies until you
have a total of 5 sets of circles and rectangles as shown
