In to the bottom of the middle leg. Each
foot is made up of 4 arcs. To make these, we will
be using the Arc (sp, ep, mid)
command. The first arc will be between the two
lines that make the leg. Use the Snap
"End" selection, then connect the two
lines by drawing a line from one end of the leg
to the other to position the ends of the arc,
then drag your mouse to set the arc to a distance
of .075" at an angle of 270 degrees. You
want it to look something like this:
Change the
Snap to "None" and draw the right arc.
Position the start of the arc line to the bottom
right edge of the platform leg, then set the
other end to a distance of about 0.5" and an
angle of 300 degrees. Do the best you can to
match the curve drawn in this drawing. It should
look like this:
Keeping the
Snap at "None" use the Mirror X
command to mirror the last arc you drew 0.5"
to the left. Then use Arc (Sp, Ep, Mid)
command again to create the last arc, which
connects the two mirrored arcs. The last arc
midpoint should be 1onegrid dot below the ends of
the mirrored arcs. Your drawing should look like
this:
Lastly ,use
the Copy command to copy the
foot that you just drew to the ends of the other
2 legs. Now your drawing will look like this:
