Start by drawing the top surface of the restraint platform. First use the Zoom In command. Then use the Line command to draw a line. The distance of the line should be set at 8" and the angle should be 330 degrees. Your drawing should look like this:

Now draw two lines, one on each end, that are 6" in distance and set at a 30 degree angle. During these steps you will be using the Grid Snap. When finished, your drawing will look like this:

Next connect the last two lines that you just drew with a line that is 8" in distance and at a 330 degree angle. It will look like this:
